Car Lots

I guess the Beginning of the End movie help me cheer up a bit. We went to the car lots where we found a car that I like and is still in our budget. But when we get there it was already close and we didnt see the car anywhere there. We didnt called them prior to our visit. Now, I just found out when my husband called me that it done sold already! Now we're back to square one again. *Sigh*
This is the look of the car that I didnt get! Oh well, better luck next time.

Beginning of the End

Oh my God! I just wasted an hour and a half of my life yesterday watching this film. My husbands friend recorded it on DVD and wants us to see how it turn out. It was sooo hilarious!!! They said its a thriller and a suspenseful movie. What a laugh! Maybe during that time it was scary but heck! All we did the entire show was finding some funny bloopers. If you want a funny movie I recommend you to watch this one. Guarantee to make you laugh your heart out. The story is just about a giant grasshoppers who manage to wipe out the entire population. There are a lot of funny things you'll notice here. The using of big screen to depict that they are really driving down the road with the same cars passing them by and of course the giant grasshoppers. A military who is soo terrified facing a grasshopper, a military that didn't know how to use his gun, and the same military group of people who just died in the war of grasshoppers are seen during the preparation to divert them from the city of Chicago and into the water. Another blooper was when a lot of military guys with guns and tanks who can't seem to kill the grasshoppers but here's the heroine in the movie shooting the grasshopper and it died. A cardboard picture of a building with crawly grasshopper. But hey! This works before all this hi-tech gadgets were here.

Get a Job

This is the answer to my boredom and not to mention financial woes. Reading books and browsing the net grows old already. Well, obviously if I start working I wont have plenty of time to do a blog. It's just that I've already applied and it all gets frustrating because I haven't got hired yet. If there are employers that are interested to hire me I can't go because I don't have a car also. We're looking for a good bargain but still works well and we don't want to pay monthlies on it. Another thing is, its too far for my husband to drive me all day if I accepted some of the offers. They've been telling me that I need to be more patient because finding a job really takes time. I know that and I understand that but we've got bills to pay and it just get on my nerves especially if people keep asking you, "Have you found a job yet?" or "Are you working now?". Been trying to read the book my brother in law gave me about getting my resume be notice. And I hope I will get a job soon!

How was your Thanksgiving?

I heard this asked all the time! Sad to say ours was not good. We just spent it resting because me and my husband were sick. We were not able to cook turkey this thanksgiving. Or go to our sister in law's get together. The next morning we went to the clinic because honey was still not feeling well and that Sunday we went to the ER. This is what we called the "Holiday bug!" Last year, during Christmas it was me that was under the weather. We spent it on the hospital. We're praying that this year will be different. Think positive!

But we are thankful to say that we are little bit better now. And that what counts most!

Brain Cells

I'm very forgetful nowadays, even when I've just thought of the things I'm about to do or say. Or maybe I was just not paying much attention? I wonder how many brain cells are left in my head? Yesterday evening, I cook something for dinner and I forgot that my husband and I talked about eating out for dinner when he called. And I totally forgot!!! Just remember it when all was prepared and hubby came inside and have a confuse look on his face.... Is there any way that we could add more brain cells? Wish some scientist can invent that. Alzheimer's and Dementia will be a thing in the past, if ever.

Penguins!

I just remember a couple weekends ago on Nov 18, we went to see Happy Feet! Me and my hubby were waiting for this to hit the threater for a long while now. And Im glad to say that I really love the story very much! Mumbles is sooo cute especially when he was still a kid and when he dances. I dont particulary like when he got older though, he looks weird. I got sad when he got captured I thought that was the end of the movie. I was so down...
But everything end up well. When the makers used real people there, it makes it soo real that it makes me wonder if penguins do really dances like that! Haha Before this movie I also like the Madagascar's penguins. Hubby got me a penguin stuff toy when we went to DisneyWorld in Florida. He is sooo cute. Love it! It's one of our "babies".

I took the plunge!!!

I dont really know why, I guess its boredom and not much else to do that I created this blog. Im not into this stuff and never plan on making one...but I thought: oohh what the hell, I might as well take the plunge and make one, lots of people have it and I observe its kind of a outlet to vent some steam or just share your day or opinion on something. I'll just call this my online diary. Hehe

I'm still new to this so I'll make it short. Today started out find. My honey's back at work. Hopefully he wont have a relapse. I still want us to go to the doctor for follow up though. Im praying that what he is feeling is not serious. Anyway, Im thinking what I should cook for dinner. Yes, I can now cook. Haha Imagine that. Hmm..Maybe a beef. Okay folks till next. Gotta see what's inside the pantray.
